THREE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE MY STYLE

VOYEURISTIC...

I strongly feel that my job is not only to capture the important moments of the day, but all of those little, easily missed moments that encapsulate who you are and what your place is in this world.

At a wedding, you and your families and guests are caught up in a whirlwind of a day. When photographing children and families, there is a silent charge that runs from each person involved in the shoot. Either way, it's the way you look at each other and interact with each other that is what defines identiity and relationships.
My Nikon is the proverbial fly on the wall capturing it both realistically and artistically.

EMOTIONAL...

Whether it's your wedding day or just a laid back Tuesday, you want to be able to re-experience the emotions that you felt at the very moment the photographs were made.

The most spectacular gift I can give my wedding couples and families that I shoot is the sweep of that emotion every time you look through your collection. It's one thing to be reminded of the way everything looked; it's quite another thing to actually FEEL it.
I love when my clients look at my images and cry their eyes out!

CONTRASTING...

It's the couture dress in front of a rustic barn. It's the disciplined West Point officers in full military dress blues relaxed with hands in their pockets. It's the fierce leopard shoes peeking out from under white lace. It's the tuxedoed toddler with chocolate from head to toe. It's the rough and tumble adolescent boy tenderly embracing his mother. It's moments like these that remind us that life doesn't fit together like a puzzle. What's more interesting to look at than that?
