25 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME...

A while back there was a challenge on facebook to come up with 25 random facts about yourself. I couldn't believe how easy it was. It was almost too easy! Give it a try... it's very revealing.

1. My favorite food group is ice cream...oh, ice cream isn't a food group? Then, cookies.

2. My sister and I brought a stray redhead home from school with us and my parents let us keep him.

3. My Aunt Renee was a second mom to me and I'll miss her always.

4. They don't call me P.I.T.A. for nothin'.

5. On my deathbed, I'll still think that being a mother was the best thing I ever did.

6. I fall into my deepest sleep in the morning...which sucks.

7. It's funny how years can go by before you reconnect with someone and then you both feel like you just spoke yesterday.

8. I am delighted to find that my son-in-law is the male version of my daughter.

9. I love to travel, but I don't very often because I love being home more.

10. My favorite holiday is Easter because you're expected to eat chocolate for breakfast.

11. I iron the bed linens for overnight guests and haven't got a clue where this ridiculous obsession came from.

12. Family is more important than anything else in the world.

13. Confrontation makes me totally nervous and stressed, even as the confronter.

14. I am sure that I was never meant to work a day in my life, but have been completely unsuccessful at that, sometimes to the point of workaholism.

15. I never considered myself a soccer mom and will deny to the bitter end that I EVER could be deemed as one, even though I was the best soccer mom ever.

16. I am amazed that I lived to see my 30's and sometimes still cry for my good friend that didn't.

17. I am always right, but will be the first to say I'm sorry when you think I'm not.

18. My biggest nemisis in life has always been (and barring baldness, will always be) my own hair. Talk about unfair.

19. Too many people have told me that Elaine Benes reminds them of me. Not the way she looks; just the way she IS. It's a strange phenomenon. I hope I'm a better dancer.

20. You probably haven't seen it, but...I DO have a temper, and while I tolerate an insane amount of BS before I reach the point of no return, God forbid if you push me to that point because it JUST ISN'T PRETTY.

21. I don't think my kids have realized yet that their nutty phobias/obsessions were passed down by their nutty mother.

22. I truly believe that if the universe were fair, we would live our lives backwards, from old to young, so that we could enjoy our wisdom in our youth.

23. I refuse to use petroleum products on or in anything except my car...I just think it's gross.

24. I'm living the life I used to dream about and am forever grateful.

25. I live to break rules!
